2021

December 2021

Paper out! Our paper describing the role of potassium-channel driven hyperpolarization in breast cancer metastasis led by former postdoc Sam Payne is out at Ebiomedicine!

New pre-print describing the role of sensory nerves in TNBC migration and metastasis. See here!

November 2021

We welcome Ken Salhany as a new member of the lab, who will be working on as a research technician on the ECM-related projects.

We say goodbye to our first rotation student Wendelin and welcome our second rotation student from CMDB Haley Dame, who will be working with Will Le on the neuronal project.

Madeleine gave a seminar titled 'Dissecting and targeting the neuronal and bioelectrical properties of cancer cells' at the UNC Lineberger Cancer Center. Thanks to Prof. Jim Bear for the invitation!

October 2021

We say goodbye to postdoc Charlotte Kelley as she moves on to a new position at Sai Life Sciences. We wish you all the best and will miss you!

The Oudin Lab has been awarded a DP2 NIH New Innovator Award to dissect the neuronal identity of tumors.
See the NIH press release and Tufts Now story.

September 2021

We welcome Wendelin Marmol to the lab for her first rotation as part of the CMDB program!

We welcome Atef Fayed, pursuing a research project in the lab for his MSc in Biology degree.

We are hiring post-doctoral researchers in both areas of the lab - the role of the ECM in chemoresistance and chemotherapy-induced metastasis and dissecting the neuronal identity of tumors. Please email Madeleine with your CV explaining your background and why you are interested in the lab.

August 2021

Congratulations to Justinne who was selected for a Life Science Consulting Fellowship at Alacrita Consulting!

End of the summer presentation by Gantcher Summer Scholar Diamond! Great work Diamond!
